Description
The Department of Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time clinical-track faculty position. The successful applicant will join a department committed to excellence in education and comprehensive patient care.
Faculty in this role will educate dental and graduate students through didactic and clinical teaching, focusing on foundational knowledge, current techniques, and clinical competency in Prosthodontics, with an emphasis on optimal oral health, esthetics, and function.
Candidates must be sensitive to the needs of and possess an interest in working in a broad academic community with different viewpoints and backgrounds.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $195,000. New York University considers factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, and market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree as well as advanced training in Prosthodontics. The candidate must have or be eligible for a New York State Dental License. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
