This presentation will provide information for providers performing pre-radiation dental evaluations and recommendations for pre-radiation extractions. The process of fabricating custom oral positioning devices for patients undergoing radiation therapy will be discussed and demonstrated.

At the conclusion of this session, attendees should be able to:

•       Work in conjunction with a radiation oncologist to design and fabricate custom oral positioning stents for patients to use during radiation therapy.
•         Provide a pre-radiation dental evaluation.
•       Provide recommendations regarding pre-radiation dental extractions.
