Serves as the ad interim committee of the ACP Board of Directors including transacting all business between board meetings; oversees alignment of programs and activities with the organization’s mission and goals.
Assists the ACP BOD in fulfilling its financial oversight responsibilities.
Annually selects and forwards nominees to the ACP BOD for all open positions and Awards of Distinction.
Reviews the proposed Bylaws amendments of the ACP and ACPEF as directed by the BOD.
Advances awareness and acceptance of prosthodontists as purveyors oral/systemic health, and the critical role good dental health plays in general health and wellness.
Increases member engagement, creates new Sections in the available states, and re-establishes activity in any dormant sections. Works with Resident and New Pros Committee on collaborative roundtable events to engage residents, new prosthodontists, and membership.

Provides strategic goals and oversight of education to members, including career development and continuing professional education. Works collaboratively with the Division of Education & Research to identify trends and determine the educational needs of the members as well as delivery modalities to address those needs. Assesses current education offerings and monitors ongoing effectiveness of all educational activities.
Develops, organizes, promotes, conducts, and evaluates Annual Session programming; develops opportunities that foster collaborative activities with other organizations.
Develops, organizes, promotes, conducts, and evaluates Digital Dentistry Symposium programming.
Develops, organizes, promotes, conducts, and evaluates prosthodontic programming.
Provides support for predoctoral prosthodontic education; manages the predoctoral educators programs that are focused on issues related to predoctoral prosthodontic education and proactively monitors directions related to the CODA standards on dental education.
Manages the postdoctoral educators' programs that are focused on issues related to postdoctoral prosthodontic education and program directors of advanced education programs in prosthodontics, works proactively on future directions related to the CODA specialty standards, and oversees the work of the National Prosthodontic Resident Exam and Board Preparation activities.
Stimulates, promotes, and evaluates prosthodontic research; establishes a research agenda; and determines areas where more research is needed. Administers and manages the John J. Sharry Competition and ACPEF Research Grant Awards.
Reviews and oversees yearly Poster Competition including reviewing criteria and judge selection.
Creates and disseminates the annual ACP exam to all postgraduate prosthodontic programs.
Develop and implement plans to increase awareness about prosthodontists and prosthodontics, specifically grassroots initiatives to engage members and the public in celebration of National Prosthodontics Awareness Week.
Promotes the Digital Dentistry Curriculum and provides support to dental schools currently using the curriculum.
